Roman Polanskis TANZ DER VAMPIRE kommt im April 2016 wieder nach Berlin und wird fur eine kurze Spielzeit erneut im Stage Theater des Westens zu sehen sein, vom 24. April bis zum 25. September 2016. Damit ist das beliebte Musical schon zwei Wochen fruher wieder auf einer deutschen Buhne zu sehen als ursprunglich geplant. Der offizielle Vorverkauf hat begonnen. Ab Herbst 2016 lauft das Musical dann im Deutschen Theater Munchen.
Feinstein's/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present "FOOTLOOSE-In Concert" on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Kick off your Sunday shoes for this one night only event! Based on the 1984 film, Footloose received four Tony Award nominations during its almost two year run in Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre. The score, featuring songs written by Tom Snow and Dean Pitchford, are sure to remind you that "there IS a time to dance". Enjoy an evening of hits that include "Holding Our For A Hero", "Mama Says" and "Let's Hear It For The Boy".
First announced back in 2009, BroadwayWorld.com broke news earlier this year about the long gestating BAT OUT OF HELL Musical - revealing exclusively that musician and producer Todd Rundgren joined the team and that the show was hoping to make a 2016 world premiere in Toronto. Producers Michael Cohl and David Sonenberg have joined the project as co-producers, alongside the previously announced Elva Corrie.
Dixon Place's dance commission, Mark Dendy Project's WHISTLEBLOWER, written, choreographed and directed by Bessie and Obie award winner Mark Dendy, will have its world premiere tonight, September 11th at 7:30 PM. With his company of dancers and original music by Heather Christian, Dendy, explores the actions and sexual orientation of renowned dissident Bradley/Chelsea Manning.
