The latest collaboration between Princess Cruises and Stephen Schwartz is called BORN TO DANCE. On October 7, 2017, press and friends of the creators were treated to a special performance of the show aboard the Regal Princess while ported at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

The JimHenson Company, Herschend Studios and PBS KIDS are kicking off 'Ocean Friends Forever,' a social media and community engagement initiative with multiple PBS station events across the country the week of June 1-8, to coincide with the internationally celebrated World Oceans Day on June 8. The effort is themed around the new PBS KIDS series SPLASH AND BUBBLES, which encourages children to explore ocean science and marine biology. Independent Shakespeare Co. (ISC) announces that HALLE STANFORD has been unanimously elected to the board of directors. A nine-time Emmy-nominated children's television producer, Stanford joined The Jim Henson Company in 1993 and holds the position of Executive Vice President, Children's Entertainment. She has developed and produced many well-known properties for The Jim Henson Company including Sid the Science Kid, Dinosaur Train, the Netflix Originals Word Party and Julie's Greenroom with Julie Andrews. She co-authored a book series, Jim Henson's Enchanted Sisters, a collection of fantastical comedy-adventure stories for girls published by Bloomsbury and currently in series development with Cyber Group Studios. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Theater from Wesleyan University and lives in Los Angeles with her sons Max and Theo.
