Gillian Anderson and Ben Foster sat down with The Telegraph to discuss their upcoming roles in the Young Vic's A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams. Anderson will be playing Southern belle Blanche DuBois and Foster will be playing her brother-in-law Stanley Kowalski. Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Streetcar follows the tension between the two. The production opens July 23 and runs through September 6.

This April, teen performers came from throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to participate in a rigorous audition for the much-anticipated Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company. For the first time, the Playhouse proudly offers a free, intensive, six-week musical theatre training program for young actors, culminating in two weeks of performances of Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr. on the legendary stage at Bucks County Playhouse July 28th through August 9th.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced Marsha Mason has joined the cast of its new production of Ira Levin's Deathtrap, directed by Evan Cabnet. Mason, who is currently directing the Playhouse production of Neil Simon's Chapter Two that begins performances tonight, will play the role of the mysterious Helga Ten Dorp. The comedy thriller begins performances tonight, June 19.

Bucks County Playhouse has announced their Founders Day Diamond Jubilee, a festive community gathering on Monday evening, June 30, 2014 at 7 pm to commemorate the first 75 years of the Playhouse. The evening will begin with the debut of a new film: Straw Hat Cinderella: Bucks County Playhouse at 75. Narrated by stage and screen star Marsha Mason, the film features historic photographs, paintings and drawings and commentary by curator David Leopold, Playhouse producer Alexander Fraser, Michener Director and CEO Lisa Hanover, and painter Robert Beck. Little Fish Theatre today announced the opening of THE GIN GAME, by D.L. Coburn. Awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1978, the play was originally cast with Hume Cronin and Jessica Tandy, who won a Best Actress Tony for her performance.

Playwright Christopher Durang - who won his first Tony Award in 2013 for his comedy VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE on Broadway - will make his debut in the role of Vanya when the play is presented at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. Main St) in New Hope, PA. From July 17 to August 10, it has been announced by the Playhouse's newly-appointed producing team -- Producing Director Alexander Fraser, Executive Producer Robyn Goodman and Producers Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler.

He is most remembered for his early film Willard in the 60s and his stunning Oscar-nominated role in Longtime Companion from the early 90s. Stage and Television stars Gavin MacLeod, Joyce Bulifant and G.W. Bailey lead a cast of twenty professional actors and singers in Dezart Performs fundraising gala, 'ON THE AIR! An Evening of Live Radio Show Classics,' on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at The Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs. The live show with post-performance VIP reception will take the audience back in time to radio's golden age of the 1940s and 1950s with all of the stage gimmicks in tact including sound effects created right on stage, applause signs-and even commercials with original jingles for the modern-day companies sponsoring the special event. The radio shows to be vividly recreated are 'The Bickersons,' 'Sherlock Holmes,' and 'My Favorite Husband.' I had the chance to chat with MacLeod about his life and career and participating in the ON THE AIR benefit. Here are a few excerpts from the conversation.
