The Barn Theatre of Montville, New Jersey will be presenting 'Jerry's Girls', a musical revue of songs from award-winning composer/lyricist Jerry Herman. Performances will be tonight, November 8, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 at 8pm; and on November 9, 10, 17, 24 at 2pm. Tickets are $24 (senior/student tickets are $22 on matinees only).

The York Theatre Company will honor legendary Broadway and film composer Alan Menken with the Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 22nd Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala to be held Monday, December 9, 2013 at The Hudson Theatre (145 West 44thStreet).

On Saturday night, November 2, the Broadway community, family, and friends came together to celebrate the 50th birthday of the legendary Andrea McArdle. The birthday was a complete surprise to McArdle who was brought to the party by friend Tommy Tune under the impression that they were meeting Carol Channing for dessert! Scroll down for photos!

Happy Birthday Andrea McArdle! As 'Annie,' McArdle became the youngest performer ever to be nominated for a Tony Award as Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Also on Broadway, she starred in the Jerry Herman musical Jerry's Girls alongside Carol Channing and Leslie Uggams; she portrayed the sassy Smoking Car, Ashley, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express; and starred as Margy Frake in State Fair; as Fantine in Les Miserables and, most recently as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Lend Us Your Ears play reading series concludes its 2013 offerings with a reading of The Madwoman of Chaillot on Monday, November 11th at 7:00 p.m. Written by Jean Giraudoux and adapted by Maurice Valency, this eerily prescient, eccentric post-war comedy pits the common people of Paris against a conglomerate of financiers determined to destroy the City of Lights and profit from the reputed oil fields lying beneath its streets. The reading will take place at The Shakespeare Theatre's Main Stage, the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. The original sold out production at TM in 2007 was directed by Bennett Wood and he returns as well to reprise that role. Gary Beard is coming back as Musical Director, too. Pam Hurley is choreographing.

Bob O'Hare made his cabaret debut in May of 2009 with 'Home: A Musical Journey.' It was a wonderful way to kick off his summer. It was well-received, with Sandi Durell lauding its 'carefully chosen songs cleverly intertwined' and 'truly realized' performances.

Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, presents the Tony Award-winning musical sensation HELLO, DOLLY!, currently running through January 5, 2014. HELLO, DOLLY! stars Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba as 'Dolly Levi.' During the holiday season Performance Network Theatre presents a new take on the larger than life Broadway musical "Jerry's Girls", a revue of the work of Jerry Herman who wrote the music for shows such as "Hello, Dolly!", "La Cage Aux Folles", and "Mame". "Jerry's Girls" is directed by Carla Milarch and stars an all female cast including award-winning musical theatre actress, Naz Edwards, from November 14 - January 5, 2014 as well as a special New Year's Eve performance followed by a champagne toast at midnight.
