The Cleveland POPS Orchestra with Carl Topilow pays tribute to the musical genius of Marvin Hamlisch in a special concert at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st in Severance Hall. The concert will feature three of the performers who worked with Hamlisch and knew him well. Broadway legends Donna McKechnie, Jodi Benson, Doug LaBrecque, along with POPS conductor Topilow, will share behind-the-scenes experiences and personal conversations they had with Marvin.

Amas Musical Theatre, New York City's award-winning pioneer in diversity and multi-ethnic casting in the performing arts since 1968, will celebrate its 45th Anniversary at a gala benefit on Monday, March 31st, 2014 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center (East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues). Honorary Chair for the event is veteran Broadway virtuoso Maurice Hines.

Peggy Herman just brought 'Herman on Herman,' her tribute to Broadway legend Jerry Herman, to the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The concert featured many of the songs from the show's premiere in May of 2011, plus additional material that was added to the project in the intervening months. California Musical Theatre announced a varied lineup of musicals for the 2014 season of Sacramento Music Circus at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, the 64th season for what has become a Northern California summer tradition. Come celebrate the one and only Broadway legend Chita Rivera in a unique solo concert event celebrating her 80th Birthday, coming to the intimate Harris Center for the Arts in Folsom. Direct from her sold-out smash concert in New York, the multiple Tony Award winner will recreate signature moments from her legendary career including numbers from West Side Story; Sweet Charity; Chicago; Kiss of the Spider Woman; Bye, Bye, Birdie and The Rink. In addition to a special tribute to her dear friends John Kander & Fred Ebb, the timeless music of Leonard Bernstein, Charles Strouse, Jerry Herman and Stephen Sondheim will also be featured, with live orchestral accompaniment by the Folsom Symphony, conducted by Michael Croiter.
