The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, has announced a Special Summer 2017 Musicals in Mufti presentation of the hit Broadway revue Jerry's Girls, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and concept by Larry Alford, Wayne Cilento, and Jerry Herman, featuring the greatest songs for women from such immortal musicals as Mame, Hello Dolly!, Milk and Honey, Mack and Mabel, A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and La Cage Aux Folles.

Light the Candles!   Get the Ice Out!  Blow the Bugle!  The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, presents the special Summer 2017 Musicals in Mufti presentation of the hit Broadway revue Jerry's Girls, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and concept by Larry Alford, Wayne Cilento, and Jerry Herman, featuring the greatest songs for women from such immortal musicals as Mame, Hello Dolly!, Milk and Honey, Mack and Mabel, A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and La Cage Aux Folles.  The limited engagement of Jerry's Girls begins TOMORROW for 12-performances only, August 5 - 13, 2017 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).  Opening Night is Sunday evening, August 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Dubbed "The greatest white female singer in the world" by none other than Ella Fitzgerald, star vocalist Marilyn Maye took Provincetown audiences by storm in her highly anticipated debut at The Art House six summers ago, and again each year since. This celebrated living legend returns to the Broadway @ The Art House series by popular demand again this summer from August 4 - 7 at 7:00 PM.

The Mac-Haydn Theatre (MHT), continues its 2017 season with the Monty Python inspired musical Spamalot. Based off the movie 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' the 2005 Tony Award winning musical follows King Arthur and his knights on their quest to find the holy grail. Spamalot is the fourth and final premiere of the MHT 2017 season.

Bob Ost of Wildly Productive Productions and Xoregos Performing Company, have announced the complete casting for the N.Y. premiere of Romance of the Western Chamber, a musical adaptation (in English) of the fabled Chinese classic Xi Xiang Ji.

HELLO, DOLLY! has confirmed that legendary star Bette Midler will officially depart the Broadway show on January 14th. No details yet on any potential replacement or other future plans for the hit production, but BroadwayWorld will keep you updated!
