ERIC COMSTOCK & BARBARA FASANO, the popular husband-and-wife team equally respected in both the pop and jazz worlds, return to The Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NYC, for a one-week engagement beginning October 15th and continuing through October 20th.

On September 25th, music legend Barbara Cook releases an all new recording, Loverman, her latest from DRG Records. Loverman is somewhat of a departure from Ms. Cook's traditional Broadway repertoire, featuring instead a large collection of jazz and standards. In addition to the release of Loverman, on October 18th Ms. Cook will perform a concert at Carnegie Hall in celebration her 85th birthday.

Barbara Cook returns to Carnegie Hall to celebrate her 85th birthday on Thursday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m. with a special performance in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

Bayou City Concert Musicals kicks off its 2012-13 season with a fully-staged concert version of the classic musical, One Touch of Venus, for five performances at the Heinen Theatre, 3517 Austin, tonight, September 6 through September 9, 2012. "It seems strange," says BCCM Artistic Director Paul Hope, "to say a show written in the 1940s can be a Houston premiere, but One Touch of Venus has never before been seen on a Houston stage. That's a sad oversight BCCM will correct in September."

Palmetto Records will release Tony Award winner and two-time Grammy nominee Betty Buckley's latest solo album, Betty Buckley: Ah, Men! The Boys of Broadway, in stores nationwide and online today, Tuesday, August 28, 2012. The 2012-2013 Concerts from the Library of Congress season offers a packed lineup of 40 concerts, lectures, film screenings, master classes and workshops, all celebrating the rich tapestry of the nation's musical heritage. This time around, Ron will focus on another facet of his many talents: singing, in a new cabaret concert called 'Forbidden Fruit' at a 2 PM matinee performance tonight, July 22, 2012 at Arthur Newman Theatre in The Joslyn Center Theater in Palm Desert.

During her recent show at 54 Below, Rebecca Luker's renditions of 16 Jerome Kern songs-some of which were more obscure pre-1920 ditties-were lovely and engaging. But as a complete nightclub performance, Luker's show was neither a compelling one-woman concert nor captivating cabaret.
