By: Kelsey Denette
3-D Theatricals will present the fourth show of its 2012 season, with the songs of Irving Berlinfeatured in I LOVE A PIANO, choreography by Kami Seymour, musical direction by Daniel Thomas, and directed by David Lamoureux. I LOVE A PIANO opened September 8 and performs through Sunday, September 23 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. View photos below!
I LOVE A PIANO will then travel across town to perform at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd. for three performances only September 28 – 30.
An extraordinary celebration of Irving Berlin, the man Jerome Kern famously said, “Has no place in American music—he is American music.” In I LOVE A PIANO, we follow a piano as it moves in and out of American lives with such classic Berlin songs like “Blue Skies,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Anything You Can Do,” “God Bless America,” and of course , “I Love a Piano.”
