London's Immersive SWEENEY TODD Opens Tonight Off-Broadway

The Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street welcomes the stars of the original London incarnation of the production, Jeremy Secomb (as Sweeney Todd), Siobhan McCarthy (as Mrs. Lovett), Duncan Smith (as Judge Turpin) and Joseph Taylor (as Tobias), reprising their performances for New York audiences.

The Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond, directed by Bill Buckhurst, begins performances tonight, February 14, 2017 and officially opens on March 1, 2017 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street).

Rehearsals are underway for the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond, directed by Bill Buckhurst. The production begins performances on February 14, 2017 and officially opens on March 1, 2017 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Tickets are now on sale through August 13, 2017.

Rehearsals begin today for the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond, directed by Bill Buckhurst.

Breaking News: Carolee Carmello, Norm Lewis & More Join SWEENEY TODD Off-Broadway!

The producers of Sweeney Todd have now announced that Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (as Sweeney Todd), Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (as Mrs. Lovett), Jamie Jackson(as Judge Turpin) and John-Michael Lyles (as Tobias) will join the production starting April 11, 2017.  Matt Doyle (as Anthony), Alex Finke (as Johanna), Betsy Morgan (as Pirelli & Beggar Woman) and Brad Oscar (as The Beadle) will continue with the production. The cast also includes Colin Anderson, Liz Pearce and Monet Sabel.

BWW Review: Nadim Naaman's SIDES Album

Alongside performing as Raoul eight times a week in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End, Nadim Naaman has somehow found the time to record his second album, Sides, with independent record label Auburn Jam Music. The CD is split into two sections; the first being original songs penned by Naaman himself and the second half consisting of personal favourites from musical theatre including ones that have shaped his career until this point.

This weekend, the casts of more than 30 West End shows perform for free in Trafalgar Square! WEST END LIVE 2016 takes place today, 18 June (11am-6pm) and tomorrow, 19 June (12pm-6pm). Today, the cast of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA performed 'Masquerade,' as well as the title song, featuring Lisa-Anne Wood as Christine, and Ben Forster, Scott Davies, Peter Lockyer and Jeremy Secomb sharing the role of the Phantom. Nadim Naaman Announces New Album 'Sides', Released June

West End performer Nadim Naaman, currently filling the boots of Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, will be releasing his second album Sides with independent label Auburn Jam Records on June 20th , with an album launch gig at The Hippodrome, London on Sunday June 19th at 3pm.
