Bradshaw Smith died on January 16, 2012, at age 57, following a sudden and severe stroke. As first reported on Deadline.com, actor Jeremy Piven is currently in talks to take on the lead role in the ITV drama series MR. SELFRIDGE. The series comes from 'Bridget Jones' Diary creator Andrew Davies.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Rachel Jett will take the reins of its undergraduate training program, the National Theater Institute (NTI) effective January 1, 2012, replacing Jeff Janisheski, who has led the program as Artistic Director since summer 2008.
