The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's Liquid Music Series presents GRAND BAND

Grand Band, a New York-based "supergroup" (New York Times) formed by pianists Erika Dohi, David Friend, Paul Kerekes, Blair McMillen, Lisa Moore and Isabelle O'Connell, makes its Midwest debut at the Ordway Concert Hall on Wednesday, May 16. Their performance features the world premiere of Degenerate Psalms by Missy Mazzoli alongside music by Julius Eastman, Michael Gordon, Paul Kerekes and Kate Moore.

On Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's Liquid Music Series presents Nathalie Joachim with musicians of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra performing Fanm d'Ayiti as part of their No Fiction Festival.

The SPCO Liquid Music Series Adds Performance for TU Dance and Bon Iver

 Electrifying contemporary dance company TU Dance, known for navigating complex themes of social change "with variety and innovation" (Star Tribune) and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, whose "rustic chamber pop with an experimental edge" (Pitchfork) and "hyper-modern balladeering" (The Guardian) has garnered Grammy Awards and significant international acclaim, come together in an unprecedented collaboration of local powerhouses. Taking place in the newly restored Palace Theatre in Saint Paul, in evening performances Thursday-Saturday, April 19-21, 2018, commission features new music from Vernon as well as new choreography from TU Dance's "incredible polyrhythmic genius" (Star Tribune) Uri Sands. Due to popular demand, the SPCO has scheduled a fourth performance on the afternoon of April 21.

Kravis Center Announces Regional Arts Classical Concert Series 2018/2019

As the first performance announcement for its upcoming 27th season, the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is announcing the 2018/2019 Regional Arts Classical Concert Series MUSIC At Eight and MUSIC At Two , featuring an incredible roster of world-class orchestras and performing artists. World-renowned violinist Joshua Bell and MacArthur 'Genius' winning pianist Jeremy Denk return to Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage on Wednesday, February 7 at 8:00 p.m. for Carnegie Hall's annual Isaac Stern Memorial Concert, playing music by Mozart, Schubert, Jan cek, and Richard Strauss. Orchestra of St. Luke's Performs World Premiere By Bryce Dessner at Carnegie Hall

The closing concert of Orchestra of St. Luke's 2017-2018 Carnegie Hall Series will take place on Thursday, February 15 at 8 PM at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Robert Spano leads the Ensemble in a program highlighted by two works considered signal achievements of their respective forms: Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G minor and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, 'Emperor,' with guest artist Jeremy Denk. The world premiere of Bryce Dessner's Voy a dormir features mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor making her Orchestra of St. Luke's debut, in a work Dessner created for her.

Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival's Spring Series Presents Three Concerts March-May

The fourth year of BCMF Spring, the spring series of the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival, presents three concerts featuring favorite BCMF musicians, both veteran and recent, and the acclaimed Pacifica Quartet performing some treasures of the chamber music repertoire. Music Academy of the West Selects Ten Zarin Mehta Fellows
