On Tuesday, October 19th singer Kevin Dozier raised $5,800 for the American Cancer Society's HOPE LODGE NYC during the final night of his engagement at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at West Bank Cafe.

Kevin debuted 'Take Me to the World' at Feinstein's earlier this year to universal raves. He returns in this extended engagement at the popular theatre-district restaurant and cabaret theatre named for Broadway's Laurie Beechman. Kevin will be joined by Musical Director Alex Rybeck at the piano with Jered Egan on Bass and John Redsecker on drums. Their new show, 'From Pelham to Park Avenue,' features songs from Broadway by Stephen Sondheim ('Pretty Women'), Jule Styne ('Make Someone Happy') and Frank Loesser ('I Believe In You'), Italian classics ('Funniculi, Funnicula') and numbers from newer songwriters like Michael Feinstein ('Swing Is Back In Style'). The engagement - which is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and features Music Director Ben Toth on piano and Jered Egan on bass - opened at Feinstein's last night, April 20.
