The court of Disney Princesses was joined by Anika Noni Rose ('Tiana') and a host of celebrity guests as Tiana was officially crowned the ninth member of the beloved Disney Princess Royal Court. A magical ceremony took place in the Grand Ballroom at the historic New York Palace in Manhattan on March 14, 2010. As the newest Disney Princess, Tiana will forever be celebrated and recognized as a Disney Princess across all divisions of the Walt Disney Company and will be included in all Disney Princess merchandise featuring multiple Disney Princess characters. Broadway favorite Jennifer Cody, who voiced Charlotte LaBouff in the Disney hit The Princess and the Frog, has garnered the Annie Award given to her by the International Animated Film Society on February 6 for her voice work in the Disney animated feature. Cody won the award in the category of Voice Acting in a Feature Production.
This morning, the Producers Guild announced its nominees for the 21st annual PGA Awards, including the 10 nominees up for the prestigious Producers Guild Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year award. The award, now in its 21st year, honors producers of the standout film of the season. Among the nominees are the producers of An Education starring Carey Mulligan, Lee Daniels and colleagues for Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire, and Peter Del Vecho for The Princess and the Frig starring Broadway's Anika Noni Rose and Jennifer Cody.
Students were engaged and challenged as they learned original Jerome Robbins choreography in a morning dance class, led by West Side Story's dance captain Marina Lazzaretto, on Saturday, December 19.

'West Side Story' master class students will learn original choreography from dance captain Marina Lazzaretto, and will partake in a "Song Interpretation" class with the hit revival's original Tony, Matt Canvenaugh. 'In the Heights' class participants will receive one-one-one feedback from star Andrea Burns, and will also have the opportunity to sing for Telsey & Co. Casting.

Broadway favorite Christopher Sieber (Shrek, Spamalot) spent Saturday, December 12 mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as they led the morning portion of a Shrek master class with Broadway Artists Alliance. Sieber (Lord Farquaad) answered questions and candidly spoke about his experiences with Shrek as well as other stage and screen credits to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21. The group's morning Q & A was followed with a Song Interpretation class led by Sieber. The master class concluded with a Musical Theatre Audition Technique session by a representative from Tara Rubin casting.
