For over 25 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts, and included in this year's roster was Constantine Maroulis, Julie White, Dylan Baker, Perez Hilton, Anika Noni Rose, Richard Kind, Ben Rappaport, Zach Braff and more!

Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) will celebrate its annual Gala on March 27, 2014 at BB King's Blues Club in Times Square, hosted by the vivacious singer, band leader, and multiple MAC Award winner, Terese Genecco. The gala will be produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, the current MAC President.
Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater, a new book by Eddie Shapiro featuring interviews with 20 female musical theatre stars, launched last night at the headquarters of Oxford University Press at 198 Madison Avenue. According to Deadline, the popular UK actor has signed on for 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, debuting with a two-hour television premiere Monday, May 5on FOX, and makes its time period premiere The Following week on Monday, May 12.

The Broadway League announces special events scheduled to take place during KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, Monday, February 24, 2014 to Sunday, March 2, 2014. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY is an audience development program created by The Broadway League to make theatre accessible, encourage theatre as a form of family entertainment, and build larger audiences for the future. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker have announced that What's It All About? Bacharach Reimagined will extend two additional weeks through Sunday, February 16, 2014 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. The musical had originally been scheduled to run through January 5 and then, following rave reviews and strong box office, received a four-week extension through February 2.

Yesterday at 88 Madison Avenue, the cast of Pippin celebrated the show's new partnership with Carlton Hotel with a live performance, nail art painting provided by Caravan Stylist Studio and circus-inspired refreshments provided by the Carlton hotel. The Carlton hotel's new PIPPIN the Musical Package will be available starting January, running through March 2014. The package includes overnight luxury accommodations, tickets to PIPPIN, cocktails at restaurant Millesime and a CD soundtrack from the show.
Barnes & Noble just celebrated the new Ghostlight Recordscast recording MARRY ME A LITTLE - featuring songs by Stephen Sondheim - with a special in-store performance and CD signing yesterday, January 13. Michelle Monaghan is set to lead the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' latest romance novel THE BEST OF ME, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Michael Hoffman will direct for Relativity, featuring a script by Will Fetters.
Earlier today, the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee, National Football League, Verizon, and Broadway Green Alliance united in Duffy Square to collect and safely recycle Electronic Waste. Cast members from AVENUE Q, JERSEY BOYS, KINKY BOOTS, THE LION KING, MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and WICKED were all in attendance to discard electronic devices such as computers, televisions, or cell phones.
