The new Off-Broadway comedy 'Application Pending' stars Christina Bianco, who plays rookie admissions officer Christine Evans as well as forty other roles. Featuring four of Broadway's brightest stars, "Seasons of Broadway" is an evening of hit songs and personal backstage anecdotes, celebrating the diversity of Broadway and the powerful impact it has had beyond the theater. The show will play a one-night special engagement at BB King's Blues Club and Grill in New York City on Monday, March 30 at 7:30 PM.
The cast of the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful just celebrated the show's one year anniversary with a celebratory curtain call and cake. Since opening on Broadway on January 12, 2014, Beautiful has broken all box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, where it recently became the highest grossing production in the theatre's history. Primary Stages continues its 30th anniversary season with Lives of the Saints, a world premiere collection of delightfully funny and unforgettable short plays by David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur) and directed by Tony Award winner John Rando (All in the Timing, On The Town, Urinetown). The limited engagement runs February 3 - March 27, 2015 atPrimary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project. Opening night is Tuesday, February 24 at 7PM. The New 42nd Street's annual Gala was held last night, January 12 at The New Victory Theater, to honor Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award-winner John Lithgow with the New Victory Arts Award for his work in 'bringing kids to the arts and the arts to kids.' The New 42nd Street also honored The Rudin Family with the inaugural Marian Heiskell Award for their role in shaping the future of New York City. Glenn Close served as Gala honorary chair. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present THE SONGS OF F. MICHAEL HAYNIE on Friday, January 23rd at 11:30pm. Playwrights Horizons has announced casting for PLACEBO, the world premiere of a new play by Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson (This at PH, What Rhymes with America, Suitcase, [sic], the FX series "The Americans," "House of Cards" on Netflix.). Directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (This at PH, The Fortress of Solitude, Bad Jews, 4,000 Miles, [sic]), the play will be the fourth production of the theater company's 2014/2015 Season.

MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, benefitting the The Actors Fund, was held last night, December 15, 2014 at 7:30 pm at The Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. Klea Blackhurst (Radio Gals), Janet Dacal (Wonderland, In the Heights) and Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) were a part of the star studded cast that featured Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Little Shop of Horrors) in the title role.
