Danny Pudi is lining up a career post-COMMUNITY.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's The Nether directed by Anne Kaufman and starring Ben Rosenfield, Sophia Anne Caruso, Merritt Wever, Peter Friedman and Frank Wood. The Nether runs now through March 15, 2015 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). Check out photos from opening night below!

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, Hamilton will be heading uptown next season! Lin-Manuel Miranda's newest musical, which opened to rave reviews last week, will arrive on Broadway this summer at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. A rare revival of Rocket to the Moon, the 1938 play by Clifford Odets (Awake and Sing, Golden Boy) will play Theatre at St. Clement's. Directed by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award winnerDan Wackerman (Counsellor-at-Law), Rocket to the Moon opened last night, February 23rd at Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). Lives of the Saints, a world premiere collection of delightfully funny and unforgettable short plays by David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur) and directed by Tony Award winner John Rando (All in the Timing, On The Town, Urinetown), began performances on February 3 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project. The limited engagement runs through March 27, 2015. Opening night is tonight, February 24 at 7PM.

When the Public Theatre announced HAMILTON's third extension earlier this month, rumors fizzled that the show would in fact transfer to Broadway in time for the 2015 Tony Awards eligibility cut off. Just today, however, the Public announced a special event for tomorrow afternoon, at which the 'HAMILTON creative team, producers and company along with the Public Theater staff at a special gathering to celebrate this new musical.' Could this mean that a Broadway transfer announcement is on its way? Check back tomorrow to find out!

Broadway legend Patti LuPone is currently back on stage in LA Opera's The Ghosts of Versailles, by composer John Corigliano and librettist William C. Hoffman. The opera gets its long awaited west coast premiere in a new production directed by 2014 Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak, running through March 1.

Producers Big Block Entertainment/Scott Prisand & Jamie Bendell (Heathers: The Musical) and Carl Levin (Rock of Ages) present the new pop-rock musical One Day in its New York premiere this spring, for a limited engagement at the innovative downtown performance space 3LD Art & Technology Center. The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will run an additional four weeks through Sunday, May 3 with an official press opening last night, February 17 at The Public Theater. 'Cop Show,' an eight-episode Web series written by and starring comedian and Saturday Night Live (SNL) alum Colin Quinn, has been ordered by L/Studio (?LStudio.com) for the series debut season tonight, February 18th. The comedy is executive produced by Morris S. Levy of MEGA Films (HBO's 'Seduced and Abandoned'), Brian Stern (Comedy Central's 'Big Time in Hollywood, FL') and Colin Quinn and directed by J.D. Amato ('The Chris Gethard Show'). Shooting began last month in New York City.

More of Broadway's best performers have joined the lineup for next month's 10th anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards. The one night only benefit will now include performances by Tony Award winners Lena Hall and Lillias White, Tony nominees Charles Busch, Mario Cantone, Robin de Jesus, Norm Lewis, LeeRoy Reams and Douglas Sills and favorites Telly Leung, Maureen McGovern and Micah Stock.

According to Deadline, Adam Shankman has been tapped to helm O'LUCKY DAY, an upcoming comedy movie starring Game of Thrones and stage star Peter Dinklage.
