He is best known as Holling, the bartender in 'Northern Exposure.'
The new Broadway production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, The Gin Game, starring Tony Award winners James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, opened last night, October 14 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Roundabout Underground world-premiere production of Ugly Lies the Bone by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor, as part of the 50th Anniversary Season. The cast features Karron Graves (Kacie), Mamie Gummer (Jess), Caitlin O'Connell (Voice / Their Mom), Chris Stack (Stevie) and Haynes Thigpen (Kelvin). Roundabout welcomes back Mamie Gummer, who made her New York stage debut in Roundabout's 2005 production of Mr. Marmalade.

Broadway rockers Justin Guarini, Deborah Cox, Alex Brightman, and Tony Vincent, all took part in Clear Channel Spectacolor's annual CELEBRITY KARAOKE: AN EPIC EVENING WITH THE STARS last night, October 5. Hosted and co-produced by Guarini, CELEBRITY KARAOKE kicked off New York Comic Con's New York Super Week and gave fans the opportunity to perform with a live karaoke band alongside Broadway's brightest stars.

Last night two-time Tony Award-winner Viola Davis made history as the first African-American to win an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category. She was recognized for her role as the brilliant attorney and professor Annalise Keating on the Shonda Rhimes drama HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. In addition to her Emmy and Tonys, Davis has won three Drama Desks and three SAG Awards. During her acceptance speech, Davis quoted Harriet Tubman and talked about breaking boundaries and redefining what Hollywood thinks of as beautiful.
The lineup is complete for the concert at Feinstein's/54 Below honoring Kyle Jean-Baptiste, the Les Miserables cast member who tragically passed away August 29. Bring Him Home is set for Oct. 5 and is being organized by the late young star's friend, fellow Baldwin Wallace University alum/Broadway performer Corey Mach, with all proceeds going to Jean-Baptiste's family.
