Caissie Levy, Chad Kimball, Nick Adams and More Set for CANCER'S EXPENSIVE Benefit, 8/26

On August 26th a benefit concert entitled Cancer's Expensive! will be held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre to help benefit Hairspray star Carly Jibson's mother, who is suffering from stage four lung and bone cancer.  Renee Zimmerman is 55 years old and has no health insurance. 

The 7pm concert will host a collection of Jibson's friends, who will help to raise funds for Zimmerman's health care.  Those expected to perform include Eden Espinosa, Chad Kimball, Jackie HoffmanLeonard SullivanCaissie Levy, Katie Thompson, Alysha Umphress, Jenna Leigh GreenMarty ThomasNick Adams, songwriter Scott Alan and the cast of Off-Broadways FAT CAMP. 

More performers to be announced shortly. Jibson will host the evening; Joshua Kartes will be the musical director. 

In addition to the performances an auction will be held featuring personalized memorabilia from Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, Michael McKean & Annete O’Toole, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Annette O’ Toole, Bruce Vilanch, Joan Rivers, Ricki Lake and Perez Hilton among others.
