On Sept 5, 2012 Lone Star Theatre Co presented a night of music by playwright/song-writer David Davila at the Laurie Beachman theatre as part of their TX MUSIC, NY STAGES series. Davila wrote one song a week for an entire year, collaborating with New York’s best singers and song-writers. The concert titled “David Davila’s 52 SONGS: Abridged!” featured highlights from the year-long project that included collaborations with Drew Gasparini, Charles Barksdale, Sean Havrilla, Stephanie Nash, Alexander Sage Oyen, Rainya Mosher and Kyle Struck.
The concert was produced by Vanessa Rae Garcia, with direction by Jay Levy, musical direction by Benjamin Rauhala and lighting by Zach Blane.
