Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces casting for the 2017/18 Season Fall shows including Souvenir, The Who & The What, Murder For Two, and Holmes and Watson.

Goodman Theatre is proud to support Chicago's off-Loop theater companies Teatro Vista, Definition Theatre Company and Collaboraction as a producing partner on several high-profile productions this summer - two of which open this week.

Turner's TNT has greenlit straight to series the new drama ONE DAY SHE'LL DARKEN. Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman, Monster) is attached to direct the pilot and potentially additional episodes, and Chris Pine (Wonder Woman, Hell or High Water) is attached to star in all six.

Noted American conductor Jason Tramm makes his Italian 2017 Narnia Festival conducting debut with several scheduled performances -  including two new, fully staged productions of "Gianni Schicchi" and "Suor Angelica" from Puccini's celebrated and enigmatic ensemble of one act operas, "IL TRITICO." Directing the productions Tramm will be working with Maria Rosaria Omaggi,  the accomplished Italian actress and writer.

At last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. confirmed a sequel to its summer mega-hit WONDER WOMAN. This week, the studio has confirmed to ET that the superhero pic will arrive in theaters on December 13, 2019.

Definition Theatre Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tyrone Phillips and Managing Director Neel McNeill, presents the first play of its 2017-2018 season, the Chicago premiere of An Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (Gloria, Appropriate), produced in association with Goodman Theatre. An Octoroon is directed by Goodman Theatre Resident Director Chuck Smith and runs now through August 20, 2017 in the Richard Christiansen Theater at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue, as part of Definition's tenure in the Victory Gardens Resident Theater Program. Bette is back! The Dallas/Fort Worth tour of Camilla Carr's award-winning play, starring Morgana Shaw and directed by Ryan Matthieu Smith, continues. “Bette” will run two nights only, at 8 p.m. August 11-12, at Stage West in Fort Worth. Following the Stage West presentation, “All About Bette” moves to the Stone Cottage Theatre in Addison. The performances will be August 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 8 p.m.
