Cold Cases Heat Up with Investigation Discovery's New Series BREAKING HOMICIDE

Investigation Discovery (ID), America's leading destination for true-crime programming, announced today the world premiere of the cold case series BREAKING HOMICIDE. In this all-new, six-part franchise from the fearless team that brought you IS O.J. INNOCENT? THE MISSING EVIDENCE, each two-hour episode follows former Rhode Island Police Sergeant Derrick Levasseur and Forensic Psychologist Kris Mohandie as they answer the pleas of desperate families seeking help investigating the unsolved murders of their loved ones. Each episode provides fresh perspective and new hope to those who never gave up on the search for justice. BREAKING HOMICIDE premieres on April 15, 2018 at 9-11PM ET, only on Investigation Discovery. Cadence Theatre Company and Virginia Rep Present APPROPRIATE

Cadence Theatre Company and Virginia Repertory Theatre are pleased to present Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. Winner of the 2014-2015 Obie Award for Best New American Play and nominated for an Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play Outer Critics Circle Award, Appropriate focuses on the reunion of the Lafayette family siblings as they return to their father's dilapidated Arkansas plantation to settle the estate after his death. Toni, Bo, and their long-time estranged brother Franz, struggle to reconcile personal memories with tangible evidence of their father's prejudice when they discover a photo album containing graphic, racist images among their father's belongings.

Broadway Sessions Offers 'Ladies Night'

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Trinity Rep Closes Out Season with RAGTIME

Trinity Rep closes out its 2017-18 Season with the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, which was written by Terrence McNally (book), Stephen Flaherty (music), and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Under the direction of Artistic Director Curt Columbus, Trinity Rep's production examines how the musical, which is set in 1906, reflects the country's current political and social climate. Based on the celebrated 1975 novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, the musical tackles race, women's rights, immigration, and workers' rights.

Artists Rep Announces 2018/19 Season

Artists Rep's Artistic Director and Interim Managing Director Damaso Rodriguez announces the line-up for Artists Rep's 36th Anniversary Season that includes seven compelling contemporary plays for their subscription series, along with two limited engagement productions. BWW Interview: Playwright Chloe Hung and ISSEI, HE SAY at NJ Rep

The New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) will present the world premiere of Chloe Hung's Issei, He Say (Or the Myth of the First) from April 19 to May 20. The winner of of an Edgerton New Play Award, it is directed by Lisa James and stars Stan Egi, Kathleen Kwan, Fenton Li, and Christina Liang. San Francisco Ballet Announces 2018-19 Season

San Francisco Ballet has announced its 2018-19 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 27, 2018, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra. In addition, the Company will also return to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., from October 23-28, 2018, where they will perform two mixed-bill programs of selected works from Unbound: A Festival of New Works.

Elizabeth Mitchell & Suni Paz Present the Tú Eres Mi Flor Family Show At The Brooklyn Folk Festival

Tu Eres Mi Flor is a sunny collection of songs sung in Spanish by beloved children's artists Elizabeth Mitchell and Suni Paz. Released on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings during the record label's 70th anniversary celebration, the album honors the legacy of Folkways founder Moses Asch to document quality children's music, and it balances ample amounts of fun and education. The selections include many well-known American folk songs that have been adapted for the enjoyment of both Spanish- and English-speaking children. Elizabeth Mitchell and Suni Paz will be performing songs from the new collection at the upcoming Brooklyn Folk Festival on April 8 at the historic St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn Heights.

Alan Ayckbourn's A BRIEF HISTORY OF WOMEN Makes US Premiere At Brits Off Broadway At 59E59 Theaters

Brits Off Broadway continues at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) with the US premiere of A BRIEF HISTORY OF WOMEN, written and directed by Alan Ayckbourn. Produced by the Stephen Joseph Theatre, A BRIEF HISTORY OF WOMEN begins performances on Thursday, April 26 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 27. Signature Theatre Announces Casting for PARADISE BLUE

Tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; James Houghton, Founder) New York City premiere production of Paradise Blue, by Obie Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau (Skeleton Crew, Pipeline) and directed by Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson (The Piano Lesson, Jitney). Paradise Blue is the first play of Morisseau's Signature Residency, which will include three productions over the course of five years.
