This November, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW presents an exciting lineup of the brightest talent from Broadway and beyond. Located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street.
Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Jen Waldman, artistic director of the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY, has announced that she will not seek to renew her contract for the coming 2016 season and will depart the organization at the end of 2015.
Don't miss the most entertaining fundraiser this year! Watch as local personalities and Hangar stars compete in an epic battle of charades at the Hangar's annual benefit Acting Out on the Hangar Stage. This light-hearted FUNdraiser will be an evening full of improvised, live entertainment, as team members act out entertainment clues for all to enjoy. See the charades showdown yourself on Sunday, October 25 at 6:00pm at the Hangar Theatre. Closing their Mainstage Season, the Hangar Theatre presents Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning romantic comedy, Talley's Folly. Directed by the Hangar's artistic director Jen Waldman, Talley's Folly will run from tonight, July 30 until August 8, 2014. Join the cast, crew, and Hangar staff on opening night, Friday, July 31 at 8pm at the Hangar Theatre, located at 801 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca, NY 14850 in Cass Park.

The Hangar's Acting Out on the Hangar Stage, Community Charades Challenge took place on Saturday, October 18. With the support of the community - through donations to four teams of participants, the purchase of auction items, and ticket sales - the Hangar was able to reach its fundraising goal for the event, which supports the theatre's educational programming, raising a total of $26,000. A new production of Michael John LaChiusa's 2003 Off-Broadway musical Little Fish begins performances tonight, September 24th at The June Havoc Theatre for a run through September 27th.
Back to the Garden, a musical tribute to folk-rock trailblazers Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Laura Nyro, delighted audiences last fall and is returning to the Hangar Theatre this weekend, September 19 and 20 at 8pm.
