Celebrate the season with Long Island's own holiday tradition. Follow the miser Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey that teaches him the true meaning of Christmas-past, present and future. As described by Newsday-"There could scarcely be a finer tribute to [Dickens'] legend than A CHRISTMAS CAROL at THEATRE THREE"-join us for our for our 33nd annual production of the immortal classic in all of its thrills, music, joy, and spirit.

The show is wonderful to begin with; that you can be sure. Theatre Three's 33rd annual production of the beloved Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol has certainly become a beautiful tradition on Long Island. Even with slight changes throughout the years, this ageless production is as spectacular as ever.

Omigod, you guys! Broadway's most fashionable lawyer is currently holding court at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, Long Island. Tony nominee Legally Blonde, The Musical, based on the 2001 Reese Witherspoon movie, had an exciting opening weekend complete with a stellar cast and a very enthusiastic audience. Truly, I can't say enough about this wonderful incarnation.

It is truly a pleasure seeing Shrek, The Musical. Based on the sure-to-be-classic DreamWorks Animation motion picture, the superb incarnation at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson boasts a truly remarkable cast. Running through June 25th, Jeffrey Sanzel wonderfully directs the large, talented company that is led by Danny Stalter - in his Theatre Three debut - as our favorite green ogre.

The York Theatre Company and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series will present staged readings of three new musicals: A Tale of Two Cities, with book, music and lyrics by Wendy Kesselman, Platinum, with lyrics and music by Will Holt and Gary William Friedman, and book by Stevie Holland with Gary William Friedman, and The Fitzgeralds of Saint Paul, with book, music and lyrics by Christie Baugher, at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

This week, we go around our Broadway World to feature the top 10 stories in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more. Check out featured list, which includes 1984 at American Repertory Theater, MARY POPPINS in Chicago, and 3-D Theatricals' BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, just to name a few.

As often as Godspell is presented, I always encourage seeing it again particularly when you have a cast as superb as Theatre Three's. Under the marvelous direction of Artistic Director Jeffrey Sanzel, the stunning company is exemplary for the perfect execution of this important story that is told time and time again.

The show is wonderful to begin with. Theatre Three's 32nd annual production of the beloved Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol has become a beautiful tradition on Long Island. Even with slight changes throughout the years, the timeless tale is as spectacular as ever.

Theatre Three has chosen the best production to kick off their 46th season, giving patrons an ideal opportunity to embrace the Halloween spirit; Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The classic Tony Award winning musical, created by Stephen Sondheim (score) and Hugh Wheeler (book), runs through October 24th at the Port Jefferson venue.
