Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 105th Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Tuesday, April 7, at 7:30 PM, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. 

Celebrate the holidays with renowned Jazz Harpist and Pianist, Corky Hale with the music from her critically acclaimed CD album, "Have Yourself A Jazzy Little Christmas - Corky Hale." Produced by Jeff Lass and Corky Hale, and distributed by Beverly Hills Records, the CD is the perfect Christmas stocking stuffer.

Aliza Barzilay, Executive Director of the Westside Center for Independent Living (WCIL), said the organization's Associates raised $8,000 at a recent Literary Tea and Membership Party with Guest Author and Speaker, SUSAN ORLEAN, the New York Times Best-Selling Author of The Orchid Thief and staff writer for The New Yorker magazine. Orlean talked about and signed copies of her latest book, Rin Tin Tin, The Life and The Legend, at the Beverly Hills home of WCIL Associates founder and member, Betty Deutsch on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Pianist Jeff Lass provided musical entertainment. The function was catered by Susan Kraft.

The 2010 Festival of New American Musicals in Los Angeles has announced casting for the world premiere concert reading of LOST LADY WITH A VIOLIN. The production will star Charlo Crossley (THE COLOR PURPLE, HAIRSPRAY), Michael Shepperd, Candice Nicole, Jay Donnell, Justin Michael Wilcox, Harrison White, and Susan Grace and will feature Donald Webber, Jr., Eve Sigall, Theresa Ford, Siri Lorece, Jayme Lake, Christian Campbell, Harrison White, Malynda Hale, Joe Hart, Noel Orput, Terrance A. Thomas, Blesst Bowden, and Ashley Arnold.

Ruth Kraft, Chairperson of the 34-year-old Westside Center for Independent Living (WCIL) Associates' 2010 Sold Out Fundraising Dinner Party, 'An Intimate Evening At The Beverly Hills Tennis Club,' said $35,000 was raised at the event attended by 100 guests held at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club on Friday evening, June 18, 2010.

Corky Hale Productions will present a star-studded musical event, entitled, 'It's Magic! A Tribute to Sammy Cahn' celebrating the life and lyrics of one of Hollywood's greatest Academy Awardâ-winning songwriters.
