CHRISTMAS 2 is a hysterical World Premiere comedy by Jeff Goode, SkyPilot Theatre Company's Senior Resident Playwright and the author of the smash hit Christmas play THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES, which has had over 500 productions world wide. He also penned SkyPilot's 2011 critically acclaimed THE EMANCIPATION OF ALABASTER MCGILL and 2010's YES SVETLANA, THERE IS A GRANDFATEHR FROST. In 2014 SkyPilot will produce his new play FURSONA NON GRATA, the first ever full length "Furry" play. For television he created Disney's AMERICAN DRAGON: JAKE LONG and is currently writing for LALAOOPSY on Nick Jr.

The critically-acclaimed ALLIANCE REPERTORY COMPANY is returning in conjunction with Witzel View Entertainment with its first production in over 3 years and the first show of their 2013-2014 season, with Tony Award-winning actress Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) featured in THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES written by Jeff Goode and directed by Alliance Repertory Artistic Director Royana Black and David Peryam. THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES will open tonight, December 5 at 8:00pm and run through Saturday, December 21 at the Complex Theatre, 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

Jesus Christ was a child star who quickly faded into obscurity. And everyone involved in his Nativity saw their lives fall into ruins-from the Orient King who gave away all his gold, to the Talking Sheep who was forced to join a circus freak show, to the alcoholic Angel whose media blitz fell apart when the newborn king and his family fled into divine witness protection. Now, 30 years after his birth, the Ghosts of Nativities past converge on Bethlehem to teach Jesus Christ the true meaning of Christmas.

In Tandem Theatre will present two hysterical holiday shows this season: the wildly popular musical comedy, A Cudahy Caroler Christmas by Anthony Wood, (November 29, 2013 - January 5, 2014) and the delightfully dark holiday comedy, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues by Jeff Goode, (two special performances only Mondays, December 9 and 16, 2013). Both shows will be presented at the Tenth Street Theatre, 628 N. 10th Street, Milwaukee.

THE ISLAND is a new musical that re-imagines Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST in a modern-day alternate timeline where Queens, Dukes and Sorceresses all vie for control of Italy's city-states. The sorceress Prospera and her daughter Miranda have been stranded on The Island for fifteen years when a passing plane offers them a chance at revenge and escape. An eclectic score of traditional musical theatre, big band, pop, and even hip-hop retells the epic tale. Featuring original music from the songwriting team behind SkyPilot Theatre Co.'s EARTHBOUND, which earned a 'Pick of the Week' from LA Weekly.
