Chance Theater is set to present its 14th annual production of the irreverent, raunchy and pitch-black dark holiday satire The Eight: Reindeer Monologues.

On the heels of last year's success, Northern Stage brings Class Act: Shakespeare in the Schools to Dothan Brook School in Wilder, VT, Newbury Elementary School in Newbury, VT, Hartland Elementary School in Hartland, VT, and Rivendell Academy in Orford, NH.

SkyPilot Theatre Company, a well-established greenhouse for new works by emerging and established playwrights in Los Angeles, has created a new development track called SkyPilot Runway. The program will launch on April 5th, 2017, with a staged reading of The Cave by Daniel Rover Singer (The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)), directed by Michael A. Shepperd (co-Artistic Director, Celebration Theatre, Los Angeles CA and recent Ovation Award winner for direction of The Boy From Oz.) The cast will include Mario Burrell, Thomas Colby, Natalie Nicole Dressel, Brad Griffith, Mat Hayes, Shelby Janes, Sarah Marcum, Ian Nemser, Gabby Sanalitro, Morry Schorr, Shoniqua Shandai, and Duane Taniguchi.

Written by Jeff Goode, directed by Resident Artist Alex Bueno, and associate directed by Resident Artist James McHale.  The Eight: Reindeer Monologues will perform December 8 through December 23 on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Chance Theater is thrilled to announce its lineup for 2017, which will be the third to employ both stages in its new home at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center. Next year will feature nine fully-staged productions, a workshop production, and three staged readings of new plays still in development.
