BONNIE & CLYDE is currently in previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, opening on Thursday, December 1st. Bonnie & Clyde stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story). They will be joined on stage by Melissa Van Der Schyff (Big River) as Blanche Barrow, Claybourne Elder (Road Show) as Buck Barrow, Joe Hart (The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public) as Sheriff Schmid and Louis Hobson (Next to Normal) as Ted Hinton. With Broadway's fall offerings celebrating their opening nights, attention has turned to what shows are slated to open for the 2012 spring season. It hasn't yet been set as a particularly full season for new musicals, but as the New York Times reports, that could easily change by the time the spring rolls around.

JEREMY JORDAN and LAURA OSNES, who will soon appear on Broadway as Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker in the new musical BONNIE & CLYDE, will be singing the National Anthem at the New York Giants home game this Sunday, October 30th at 1pm. The Giants will be playing against the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

An all-star cast of Seattle celebrities will waltz onto the stage of The 5th Avenue Theatre in a holiday ball audiences will never forget: Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Under the direction of Seattle's own Brandon Ivie, this enchanting fairy tale features Jennifer Paz of Miss Saigon as Cinderella and Wicked star Kendra Kassebaum as the Fairy Godmother, as well as local luminaries Suzanne Bouchard, Nick Garrison, Sarah Rudinoff, Brandon O'Neill, Cynthia Jones, Allen Fitzpatrick, and Greg McCormick Allen.

Hundreds of Newsies fans (affectionately known as Fansies) attended the special Newsies Fan Day reception, talk-back and performance on Sunday, October 2nd at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. The event sold out, weeks in advance, but hundreds of lucky fans had their childhood dreams come true. Along with the entire stage cast, members of the original movie cast and creative team participated in the event including: Gabriel Damon (Spot Conlon), Luke Edwards (Les Jacobs), Shon Greenblatt (Oscar Delancy), Arvie Lowe Jr. (Boots), David Moscow (Davey), David Sheinkoph (Morris Delancy), David Sidoni (Pie Eater), Kevin Stey (Swifty), David Moscow (Davey), Jack Feldman (Librettist), Ms Noni White (Screenwriter), Jeff Calhoun (Stage Director) and the film's director and choreographer Mr. Kenny Ortega.

According tot he NJ.com, nine theatre-goers were asked to leave during intermission of Paper Mill Playhouse's NEWSIES last week due to 'unruly behavior.' Theatre representative Shayne Miller commented on the incident: 'There was an altercation, something about poking another patron in the back. They were being rowdy and loud, talking on their cell phones in the theater.'

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) will host a Newsies Fan Day at the Millburn theater on Sunday, October 2nd. Newsies Fan Day is an opportunity for Newsies fans nationwide to celebrate this cult phenomenon. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a Newsies Fan Reception at 5pm in the Renee Foosaner Art Gallery on the campus of Paper Mill Playhouse. At 6:00pm, there will be a Newsies Cast Talk-Back where both the stage cast and members of the film cast will discuss Newsies. The Newsies Fan Package costs $25 and includes: the Newsies Fan Reception, Newsies Cast Talk-Back and a Newsies gift. To participate in Newsies Fan Day, you must hold a ticket to the Newsies fan performance at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 2nd, sold separately. Radio Disney will be on campus to join in the festivities.
