Boston Playwrights' Theatre (BPT) concludes its 2022-23 season with Alligator-a-Phobia in 3D!, a play with music by Jay Eddy.

Gatsby, a brand-new musical stage adaptation of the legendary F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, will make its highly anticipated World Premiere at A.R.T. in 2024, and will be directed by Tony Award winner Rachel Chavkin and choreographed by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

Alleyway Theatre kicks off the second half of its season with a fantastical new drama about the power of human connection. THE ALEPH COMPLEX, by Deborah Yarchun, is the latest recipient of Alleyway's Maxim Mazumdar New Play Award.

The Center for Fiction and Theatre Communications Group will co-present Story/Teller Arts: Martyna Majok on Cost of Living with Naveen Kumar and David Zayas on November 16 at 7pm ET at The Center for Fiction, 15 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217, and via livestream.

The New Coordinates, formerly The New Colony, will conclude its 2022 season with the world premiere of Kristin Idaszak’s heart- wrenching cliffhanger Last Ascent, directed by Denise Yvette Serna, playing October 15 – November 20, 2022 at The Den Theatre (2B).

Playwrights Horizons today announced its 2022–2023 season. Brought together amidst the easing of a reality-altering pandemic —during which desire for a “return to normal” began to feel at once futile and shortsighted—the lineup consists of five works that consider and radically challenge the very idea of normalcy.

The antiracist theater collective will present its first season at Tribeca's Flea Theater, as the organization's Key Resident Company-a reparative grant and partnership offered to a nascent company that centers Black, Brown and Queer artists.
