Regardless of the time period, the play is far more relevant than you'd think. Directed by Jonathan Moscone, the play is about wealth, political corruption, education and opportunity. As we drag along into the current presidential election, there is plenty to say on these topics, and evidently Kanin felt the same way back in the forties.

Anthony Logan Cole (Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Song Of Solomon), who is currently standing by for Uncle Joey in Off-Broadway's Full House-The Musical will join the cast as Laurie. The production is directed and choreographed by Broadway's Terry Gene Noegoet (Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady) with Music Direction by Cristina Dinella (Defendant Maurice Chevalier).
