A revealing portrait of the late dancer-actor-director-choreographer Gene Kelly, this Chicago premiere production of What a Glorious Feeling will be directed by Theatre at the Center Artistic Director William Pullinsi with Choreography by Jeff Award-winning choreographer Danny Herman. Herman has choreographed over 50 productions nationally, including The National Tour of Dreamgirls, A Little Night Music and Another Midsummer Night at the Goodman, Elmer Gantry at Ford's Theatre and over a dozen productions at Candlelight Playhouse, including 5 Guys Named Moe and Song and Dance.

Bristol Riverside Theatre presents Say Goodnight Gracie starring Alan Safier in what's being described as 'a one-man tour-de-force performance' as George Burns at Bristol Riverside Theatre on August 3-5. Performances are Friday, August 3 at 3:00 and 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 4 at 2:00 and 8:00 PM, and Sunday, August 5 at 3:00 PM. The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia announced the nominees for the Barrymore Award for Excellence in Theatre Education and Community Service at a press conference on Monday, August 2nd at New Freedom Theatre. The nominees are 1812 Production's 1812 Outreach, B. Someday Productions' Of Mythic Proportions, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights' Annual Playwriting Festival. The recipient will be announced at the Barrymore Awards Ceremony on Monday, October 4th at 7:00 PM at the Walnut Street Theatre.
WHAT A GLORIOUS FEELING is set to be the opening show at Adirondack Theatre Festival. The show will open today, June 23 and play through July 3. The play, which features dancing and music was created by Jay Berkow who became inspired after attending a interview with Donen at an event for Lincoln Center. Berkow wrote the book and directed the production.
