The DuPont Theatre presents the Wilmington premier of THE COLOR PURPLE for a limited one-week engagement beginning September 14 through September 19, 2010 to launch its 98th Broadway Season. Performances of THE COLOR PURPLE at the DuPont Theatre are Tuesday through Sunday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening performances start at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evening performances start at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Ticket prices range from $50 to $75. On Sunday, September 28th at 7:00pm, Dreamlight Theatre Company will present the next installment of 'Bright Lights,' a concert series dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging composers and lyricists in musical theatre.
