The New York City Podcast Festival (NYC PodFest), is delighted to announce that Drama Desk Award Winner, Tony Nominee and Broadway star, Laura Osnes and KINKY BOOTS' Ellyn Marie Marsh will guest on Theater People's live podcast on Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at Fontana's in Manhattan. Laura will join Theater People's host Patrick Hinds for a discussion on their extraordinary life on and off Broadway. The evening will also include special surprises and giveaways.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the lineup for the 15th edition of Film Comment magazine's essential, eclectic festival, taking place February 20 - March 5, 2015.

Acclaimed Broadway, film and television star, Tovah Feldshuh - nominated six times for the Tony and Emmy Awards-brings to San Francisco for the first time, her award winning one-woman show, Tovah: Out of Her Mind! at Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only - this weekend, December 13 (7 p.m.) and December 14 (7 p.m.).

On Monday, December 1st the 2014 Shaw New York Critics' Symposium was held at The Players Club before a sold out crowd. A team of critics examine the ever-changing needs of their field, how their world has changed and how they predict their roles in the arts will continue to evolve. This panel included Joe Dziemianowicz (NY Daily News), Adam Feldman (TimeOut NY), Frank Rizzo (Hartford Courant/Variety), David Rooney (The Hollywood Reporter), Elisabeth Vincentelli (New York Post), and Jason Zinoman (The New York Times), moderated by Frank Rizzo (Hartford Courant). Gingold Theatrical Group presents these events annually. Gingold Theatrical Group is a human rights arts organization using the work of George Bernard Shaw as its guide. As George Bernard Shaw began his theatrical career as a critic and arts journalist, GTG presents this annual forum for critics to meet and discuss their world in front of an audience. This event was part of Gingold Theatrical Group's Shaw New York 2014 festival, which includes the now-running production of Shaw's MAJOR BARBARA at the Pearl Theatre Company. The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with Comedy Central, announced today the addition of more than 60 shows including Comics to Watch, the New York's Funniest Stand-Up competition finals, and events featuring Jim Gaffigan, Bob Odendkirk, Pete Holmes and Sommore. In addition NYCF in partnership with The Paley Center for Media announced three new dynamic panel discussions with the creative teams behind the hit shows "Late Show with David Letterman," "Inside Amy Schumer" and "Broad City;" The 11th annual festival runs from November 5 - 9 at more than 20 venues throughout New York City.

Mint Theater's new production, London Wall by John Van Druten, featuring Julia Coffey, Katie Gibson, Matthew Gumley, Jonathan Hogan, Laurie Kennedy, Elise Kibler, Stephen Plunkett, Christopher Sears, and Alex Trow will now continue through April 26th at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street). This is the American premiere of John Van Druten's "rivetingly entertaining" (The Guardian) romantic drama, which opened Monday February 24th. Davis McCallum, who staged the 2012 Pulitzer-Prize winning play Water by the Spoonful at Second Stage, as well as the award-winning production of The Whale at Playwrights Horizons, directs.

Billy Crystal returns to Broadway to kick off a 9-week-only limited engagement of his Tony Award-winning, record-breaking play 700 Sundays. Having staged revolutionary interpretations of 'Richard III' in 1996 and 'Romeo and Juliet' in 2009, he is now taking on 'Hamlet' with a new full-length work, 'Hamlet Hallucinations.' La Mama E.T.C., D'Ambrosi's theatrical home in the USA, will present the work's world premiere tonight, October 17 to November 3.

Gingold Theatrical Group's SHAW NEW YORK 2013 festival concludes on Sunday October 13th. It has been highlighted by GTG's co-production of Shaw's You Never Can Tell with and at The Pearl Theatre Company. This production, which was filmed for the New York Library for the Performing Arts and Lincoln Center archives, is ending its limited run on Sunday October 13th.

The Pearl Theatre Company kicks off its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with the first New York revival in 15 years of George Bernard Shaw's You Never Can Tell in a co-production with the Gingold Theatrical Group that is directed by David Staller. Running today, September 3-October 13, the show's sumptuous costumes, elegant settings and Shavian wit will raise a champagne toast to a year of celebration at The Pearl, where Shaw, following Shakespeare, has been the second most produced playwright in The Pearl's history. The production is also the centerpiece of the Shaw New York 2013 festival.

Actors, writers and directors know that to succeed in theater, it is necessary to master the art of survival. Tonight, August 7, and August 8 and 10, the 24 Hour Company in partnership with The New School for Drama will explore artistic survival in its many forms, with two panel discussions, as well as the undertaking of one of theater's greatest challenges, The 24 Hour Plays.
