Rehearsals begin Monday, January 13 in New York for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES, which returns to Broadway beginning Saturday, March 1 at the Imperial Theatre. The official opening night for LES MISERABLES is Sunday, March 23. The cast of the new LES MIZ features Ramin Karimloo (West End and current acclaimed Toronto star of LES MISERABLES, and The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies in London) as Jean Valjean; Will Swenson (Tony Award-nominated star of Broadway's Hair and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Javert; Caissie Levy (West End and Broadway star of Ghost and Hair and Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked) as Fantine; Nikki M. James (Tony Award winner for The Book of Mormon) as Eponine; Andy Mientus (who captured the hearts of TV viewers with his portrayal of Kyle Bishop on the NBC series 'Smash') as Marius; talented newcomer Charlotte Maltby as Cosette; acclaimed Canadian actor Cliff Saunders (The 39 Steps) as Thenardier; Tony Award-nominee Keala Settle (Hands on a Hardbody) as Madame Thenardier and Kyle Scatliffe, (the West End production of The Scottsboro Boys) as the revolutionary Enjolras.

North Shore Music Theatre's (NSMT) production of Claude-Michel Schonberg, Richard Maltby Jr., and Alain Boublil's phenomenal popera “Miss Saigon,” which ran for a limited time, starring Jennifer Paz (Kim) and Jason Forbach (Chris), officially closed yesterday. Interestingly, real-life couple Jennifer and Anthony Fedorov's seven-month-old son, Julian, also made his professional stage debut in the show's final performance!

Most recently wowing North American audiences as Enjolras on LES MISERABLES' 25th Anniversary Tour, Jason Forbach played with the idea of revolutionary for his latest CD single REVOLUTIONARY. In creating the song, he pulled from his experiences on the barricades and wrote "Revolution" with Wesley King. He rounded out the CD single with a rendition of the iconic "Bring Him Home" from LES MISERABLES and an instrumental version of "Revolutionary."

Jason Forbach, currently touring the nation in the 25th Anniversary of LES MISERABLES as Enjolras, will releases his new, original single titled 'Revolutionary' available today. This song written by Forbach and writing partner Wesley King, 'Revolutionary' taps into Forbach's experience on the barricades, creating an inspired song about self empowerment through music. The single is also accompanied by a folk rendition of 'Bring Him Home' from 'LES MISERABLES.' This recording marks Forbach's third solo recording following 'A New Leading' and 'Remembering To Dream' all available on iTunes and other online retailers.

Jason Forbach who plays Enjolras in the 25th Anniversary North American Tour of Les Miserables will release a new single on August 1, 2013. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Ear Candy, a non-profit organization that helps supply instruments to schools.

Not long after the Sacramento opening night performance of Les Miserables, producers officially confirmed plans to take the 25th anniversary production to Broadway next March. The announcement will come as no surprise to those who have witnessed the grandeur of the reimagined sets and slightly updated score. While many will miss the rotating stage of the original production, Wednesday night's standing ovation and the success of last year's film version of the musical, not to mention all the regional performances that are popping up everywhere, attest to its epic standing in the Broadway World.
