Fall is my favorite season hands down, but before we are filled to the brim with candy corn, apples, pumpkin lattes and (in my case) birthday cake (Oct 9th is my bday!) I figured I would take this entry to reflect on what an outrageously special and exciting summer it's been!

The Original Broadway Cast Recording for the Tony-winning new musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT will be available for digital download on Tuesday, September 25 and on CD Tuesday, October 30th. The album, released by Shout! Factory and distributed by Sony Music Distribution, is produced for records by six-time Grammy® nominee Robert Sher, David Chase & Tony Award nominee Bill Elliott.

Young Hollywood (hosted by Lesley Robins) went backstage to Broadway's production of the classic Gershwin musical NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT with Jeff Schecter, who plays Floyd. This behind-the-scenes peek looks at the show, its costume department, fun props and more. Plus, Schecter reveals what it's like to work with Matthew Broderick and what it was like taking over as the understudy for the Tony Award-winning role of Cookie, played by star Michael McGrath. The producers of the Tony-winning hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT just announced that Will Chase (NBC's "Smash") will take on the role of Jimmy Winter from Tuesday, August 21st to Sunday, August 26th only while two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick is on vacation. Broderick returns to the show full time on Tuesday, August 28th.

On June 28, Tony's di Napoli Restaurant in Times Square added a new portrait to their outstanding Broadway Wall of Fame honoring the cast of the new Broadway musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Matthew Broderick, Kelli O'Hara, Michael McGrath, Judy Kaye, Estelle Parsons, Chris Sullivan and Jennifer Laura Thompson. Hosts Valerie Smaldone and Bruce Dimpflmaier presented the Dan May portrait to the show's stars in an intimate ceremony, and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

The producers of NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have announced that Tony nominee Erin Dilly will take on the role of Billie Bendix from Sunday, July 15th to Sunday, July 29th only while four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara brings FAR FROM HEAVEN to Williamstown Theatre Festival prior to a 2013 Playwrights Horizons run. O'Hara returns to the show full time on Tuesday, July 31st.

A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, on April 24 the robe was presented to NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT 'gypsy' Cameron Adams.
