CHERNOBYL dramatizes the 1986 nuclear accident, one of the worst human-made catastrophes in history, and tells the story of the brave men and women who made incredible sacrifices to save Europe from unimaginable disaster, all the while battling a culture of disinformation.

The five-part miniseries CHERNOBYL debuts MONDAY, MAY 6 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), followed by other episodes subsequent Mondays at the same time, exclusively on HBO.

The British Independent Film Awards is delighted to announce today that Dame Judi Dench will be this year's recipient of the Richard Harris Award for outstanding contribution by an actor to British film, in recognition of her distinguished career in the UK and advocacy of the British film industry across the globe. The award will be presented to her at the 2018 awards ceremony to be held at Old Billingsgate Market on Sunday 2nd December.

The Little Foxes - L.A. Paying homage to one of the most influential groups of all time, NBC is celebrating Sweden's most popular export with 'ABBA: Thank You for the Music, An All-Star Tribute.' The five-part HBO miniseries CHERNOBYL, to be produced by Sister Pictures and The Mighty Mint as an HBO/Sky Television co-production, will begin filming next year, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming.

This morning, nominations for the BAFTA TELEVISION AWARDS were announced. The honors are considered the equivalent of the Emmy Awards in the U.S. Topping the list was Netflix's THE CROWN.
