Raven Theatre Announces SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER

Raven Theatre is pleased to conclude its 35th anniversary season with Tennessee Williams' stark and intriguing drama SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER directed by Jason Gerace, playing May 2 - June 17, 2018 on Raven's 105-seat East Stage, 6157 N. Clark St. (at Granville) in Chicago.

It's Pompeii meets Heathers as New American Folk Theatre presents the Midwest premiere of Johnny Drago's 1980s-infused comedy HOT PINK, OR READY TO BLOW, directed by Derek Van Barham, playing March 10 - April 7, 2018 at The Den Theatre (2A), 1333 N. Chicago's Christian Helem Wins 2nd Place in National August Wilson Monologue Competition

The Goodman Theatre and Derrick Sanders, in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Music at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the League of Chicago Theatres, American Theater Company, Court Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre and Atlanta's True Colors Theatre Company have announced that Chicago's own Christian Helem (Chicago High School for the Arts - American Theater Company), placed second in the national August Wilson Monologue Competition held this past Monday, May 7, 2012, at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre.

Goodman Theatre and Derrick Sanders, in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Music at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the League of Chicago Theatres, American Theater Company, Court Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre and Atlanta's True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce the finalists of Chicago's August Wilson Monologue Competition. The finalists will deliver their monologues on March 19 at 6pm at Goodman Theatre (170 N. Dearborn); admission is free, and reservations are not required.
