Warner Bros Moves Up Lady Gaga-Led A STAR IS BORN Release Date

Warner Bros' highly anticipated remake of A STAR IS BORN, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will now be released in theaters on May 18, 2018. The film, which also marks Cooper's directorial debut, was previously set to open on September 28, 2018.

Goldenson Broadway Concert Series at Rubicon Theatre Company continues with a concert starring Emmy Award-winner and multiple-Tony nominee NANCY DUSSAULT in MY LIFE…UPON THE WICKED STAGE. Perhaps best known to audiences as the first host of "Good Morning America," and for her co-starring role on TV on "Too Close for Comfort," Dussault's remarkable career began on the stage. Her concert includes anecdotes about Dussault's remarkable career and songs by many of her favorite composers, such as Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne, Burton Lane and Stephen Sondheim. Dussault's extraordinary musicality and comedic storytelling infuse new meaning into beloved classics such as "Getting Married Today," "Look to the Rainbow," "Old Friend" and her iconic "Make Someone Happy." FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Nancy Dussault in "MY LIFE UPON THE WICKED STAGE" on September 27, 2016 @ 7:00PM. Nancy will take the audience on a musical journey, returning to those heady days of her Broadway life. Expect this Golden Age leading lady to sing the brilliant songs of Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne, Burton Lane, and Stephen Sondheim. You'll also get to re-live the time when she introduced the classic, "Make Someone Happy". Nancy will regale with tales of being the first co-host of Good Morning America, co-starring in the New Dick Van Dyke show, and starring with Ted Knight in "Too Close For Comfort", before returning to Broadway in Side By Side By Sondheim and Into The Woods. Bergen County Players Opens 84th Season with CABARET

Set in 1931 Berlin, Cabaret primarily takes place amid the nightlife of the seedy Kit Kat Klub. Life there revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw. Overseeing the action is the mysterious Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, which serves as a metaphor for ominous political developments in Germany as the Nazis rise to power. Director Alan Demovsky encourages the audience to ask questions: "Why have so many versions of this story been told for almost 100 years? Is it truly a cautionary tale? Can this happen again? Is it perpetually happening?"

Now in its 11th year sponsored by Trader Joe's, the ADORED AND RESTORED Winter Series focuses on the importance of film preservation and the art of cinema by presenting some of the most influential films from the silent movie era. Each film was a 'special pick' by one of STG's partners and includes a CineClub discussion led by a film professional. The Music Box Theatre takes this opportunity to take a look at some past award winners and see how this year's crop stacks up!
