Over the weekend, stars of stage and shop employees gathered for a night of stories and songs to celebrate and benefit the legendary Drama Book Shop at Feinstein's/54 Below. Check out photos from the night below!

The legendary shop has been much-talked about lately, after Lin-Manuel Miranda (of Hamilton fame) launched an internet campaign to bring sales into the flooded shop. And now, tonight, March 26th, stars of stage and shop employees will gather for a night of stories and songs to celebrate and benefit the legendary Drama Book Shop at Feinstein's/54 Below. The 7pm concert will feature many of the all-star Broadway talent who frequent the shop on a daily basis.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Tony Award-nominees Penny Fuller (Applause, A New Brain, Dividing The Estate) and Sally Mayes (Closer Than Ever, She Loves Me) have joined the starry line-up for a Feinstein's/54Below's benefit concert for The Drama Book Shop. Also joining the roster is Ali Stroker, who recently made her debut in Deaf West's revival of Spring Awakening, and composer Nancy Ford (I'm Getting My Act Together...).

Fans and performers from around the world have gathered to honor the memory of Elaine Stritch. In a new video created and edited by Steven Carl McCasland, Artistic Director of Beautiful Soup Theater, over 25 participants have gathered to celebrate her most famous song, 'The Ladies Who Lunch'. Beautiful Soup Theater returns to The TAI Group's blackbox on Sunday, September 8th at 7:00PM for an evening of songs by musical theater's brightest new voices. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Beautiful Soup's production of LIFT, an American premiere of a smash hit musical from London's SoHo Theatre.

The event should have been titled '520 Mondays.' On Monday, July 1, Birdland celebrated the tenth anniversary of 'Jim Caruso's Cast Party,' the unique and very extreme weekly open mic. Gianni Valenti, the owner of the historic music room, honored host Caruso with a Seth Walters portrait on the wall, usually reserved for jazz icons. (Caruso quipped, 'Somewhere, Charlie Parker is very uncomfortable.')

Jane Olivor, Karen Akers, Marc Kudisch, Liz Callaway, Lari White, Scott Coulter, Jason Graae, Lisa Howard, Steven Lutvak, Chris DiCristo, Julie Garnye, and Carole Schwartz were among the Broadway and cabaret stars honoring famed composer Stephen Schwartz in 'A Tribute to Stephen Schwartz' on Friday, October 19 at 8PM at The Town Hall as part of the Third Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival October 19-21, 2007. The evening was directed by Scott Coulter with musical direction by Alex Rybeck.

Klea Blackhurst celebrated Ethel Merman's 100th birthday at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club on Monday October 15. Following the concert was Jim Caruso's Cast Party.
