Last night on American Idol, the top 10 girls laid down the law when they performed for the first time for America's vote.

On last night's AMERICAN IDOL, Vincent Powell hit the high notes for his rendition of Lenny Williams' "Cause I Love You." The 29-year-old from Austin,TX is a former back up singer for the late Whitney Houston. Check out his performance below!

Last night, AMERICAN IDOL named the final set of guys who will join the Top 20. They are Lazaro Arbos, 21, from Naples, FL; Nick Boddington, 27, from Memphis, TN; Vincent Powell, 29, from Austin, TX; Cortez Shaw, 21, from Dallas, TX; and Burnell Taylor, 19, from New Orleans, LA.

On last night's AMERICAN IDOL, 20-year-old Zonette Johnson from Tulsa, OK brought the judges to their feet and Nicki Minaj to tears with her stirring rendition of The Lion King's 'The Circle Of Life.' Check out the performance below!

Quadruple-platinum, Billboard chart-topper and AMERICAN IDOL winner Phillip Phillips will perform his second single, “Gone, Gone, Gone,” from his debut album, “The World From The Side Of The Moon,” on AMERICAN IDOL Thursday, March 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. “Gone, Gone, Gone” also will serve as the “goodbye” song of the season and will be featured when the IDOL finalists are eliminated week by week. Phillips and previously announced performers Bon Jovi will appear on the IDOL stage to perform on the LIVE results show.

The AMERICAN IDOL auditions came to a conclusion tonight as the judges' semifinalists picks were revealed. After intense deliberations, Mariah, Randy, Nicki and Keith have chosen the Top 40 contestants, who will now head to Las Vegas to perform on the stage of Cirque du Soleil's Beatles LOVE Theatre at The Mirage.
