Nominations in 14 categories and 3 special awards were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2011 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will benefit The Actors Fund. A list of nominees follows below.

Resonance Ensemble (Eric Parness, Artistic Director; Rachel Reiner, Managing Director; Dori Thompson, Chairman of the Board) will celebrate its 9th season with a benefit reading of Jonathan Tolins' The Forgotten Woman on Monday, April 4, 2011.

Following eleven sold out shows, The Laurie Beechman Theatre will continue their hit series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, for a twelfth installment, Monday, March 28 at 7pm. Included in the cast are an array of Broadway and cabaret alums, including Karen Akers (Nine, Grand Hotel), Christina Bianco (Drama Desk nominee, Forbidden Broadway), Eric Michael Gillett (Kiss Me, Kate, Sweet Smell of Success), Steve Ross (Present Laughter), Steven Lutvak (Kleban & Larson award-winner) and Alysha Umphress (American Idiot). We're also pleased to welcome back three very special guests, all of whom created roles in Sondheim musicals: Annie Golden (Assassins), Teri Ralston (Company, A Little Night Music) and Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd). Recently, Sondheim Unplugged received the 2011 Bistro Award for Outstanding Cabaret Series.

Daniel Beaty's award-winning solo show Through the Night will close on Monday, March 28th at the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street).

The Human Race, Dayton's own professional producing theatre company, moves next door from its home Loft Theatre for the next two weeks to present The Drowsy Chaperone. The performance is part of the Victoria Theatre Association's Miami Valley and Good Samaritan Hospitals Broadway Series.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Daniel Beaty's award-winning solo show Through the Night will extend its run to play two additional performances on Monday, March 21st and Monday, March 28th at the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street), before ending its limited engagement.
