In response to hundreds of messages from Adelaide fans, the Estate of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil announced today that Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World TourTM will now come to Adelaide in October this year as part of its Australian tour. This once-in-a-lifetime electrifying production uses Cirque du Soleil creativity to give fans worldwide a unique view into the spirit, passion and heart of the artistic genius who forever transformed global pop culture. Written and directed by Jamie King, the show includes 49 international dancers, musicians and acrobats. Since its world premiere in Montreal in October 2011, the enormously successful arena production has thrilled audiences across North America, Europe and Asia.

Exhilarating spectacles will be taken to new heights Wednesday, Oct. 16 as Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil teams with Gibbon Slacklines to showcase a record-breaking highline walk attempt from the exterior of Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, 63 floors above the Las Vegas Strip. As the kick off to the 2013 World Slackline Federation (WSFed) Slackline World Cup Finals taking place the following day inside the Michael Jackson ONE Theatre, Andy Lewis, the daredevil Gibbon athlete and slackliner made famous for his Super Bowl XLVI halftime show performance with Madonna, will attempt to set the world record for the longest urban highline walked. Lewis will thrill spectators by forging a 480-ft. high, 360-ft.-long slackline, running parallel to the Las Vegas Strip, rigged from two of Mandalay Bay's resort towers.

Hell in a Handbag Productions will remount of one of its most popular shows ever at The Coach House at Berger Park, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd. (Sheridan and Granville). Originally produced under Sweetback Productions, The Birds is not just a ridiculous parody of the classic Hitchcock film, but a look inside the mind of newcomer Tippi Hedren guided by author and American social critic Camille Paglia with a touch of David Lynch thrown in for good measure. Cirque du Soleil will debut its new show, 'Michael Jackson ONE' at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino this summer. Previews are slated to begin tonight, May 23, with opening night set for June 29, 2013.

Cirque du Soleil and the Estate of Michael Jackson unveiled Michael Jackson ONE today in Las Vegas, a new creation to take residency exclusively at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Cirque du Soleil announced yesterday, February 21, that it will debut a new show, 'Michael Jackson ONE' at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino this summer. Tickets will go on sale March 7. Previews are slated to begin May 23, with opening night set for June 29, 2013.
