It is, after all, the very same venue where Jackson held rehearsals for his planned 2009 World Tour 'This Is It' before passing away rather suddenly in June of that year. Days later, the venue then also served as host to the pop star's public memorial service watched by millions around the world on live television. So to see this extravagant, dance-heavy, visually-arresting tribute to the King of Pop here makes absolute perfect sense.

MADONNA, a multi Grammy Award-winning Universal Records recording artist, will perform in the BRIDGESTONE SUPER BOWL XLVI HALFTIME SHOW on NBC at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5, the NFL and NBC announced during tonight's Sunday Night Football game between the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. Madonna's performance will be imagined by CIRQUE DU SOLEIL and JAMIE KING.

Production has begun to evaluate the transformation of the resort's theater and identification of the creative team for the show, which is slated to open in the spring of 2013.
