Internationally acclaimed pianist, master teacher, chamber musician, conductor, and vocal coach Warren Jones, comes to the Curtis Institute of Music, February 13–⁠17, 2023, for a highly-anticipated artist residency featuring a private master class in collaboration with Curtis’s distinguished vocal studies and piano studies departments led by Miloš Repický, Hirsig Family Chair in Vocal Studies and Amy Yang, associate dean of piano studies and artistic initiatives.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with Puccini's Tosca on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances. Additional performances are March 28, 31, and April 2 (matinee), 2023. All evening performances take place at 7:30 PM, matinees at 2 PM.

An onstage award presentation immediately following the October 30 matinee performance of Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites honored three cherished artists whose careers with San Francisco Opera each span over three decades. Mezzo-soprano Catherine Cook, who was Mother Jeanne in the afternoon's performance, and bass-baritone Dale Travis, who portrayed Marquis de la Force, were joined onstage by bass-baritone Philip Skinner to each receive the San Francisco Opera Medal.

Immediately following the September 25 opening performance of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, bass Ferruccio Furlanetto, who performed the role of Prince Gremin in the opera, was presented with the San Francisco Opera Medal.

Raehann Bryce-Davis, the young mezzo-soprano whose star has been rising since her 2018 George London Award win, performs the first recital of the George London Foundation for Singers 2022-23 season on Sunday, October 2, at 4 pm at The Morgan Library & Museum.

The George London Foundation for Singers will present “Nora London – A Celebration” on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 4:00 pm at The Morgan Library and Museum's Gilder Lehrman Hall.

The George London Foundation for Singers announces with sorrow that Nora E. London passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 98. Born Nora Schapiro on January 8, 1924, in Berlin, she was raised in Europe, coming to the United States at the beginning of World War II.

The George London Foundation for Singers presents three events at The Morgan Library & Museum in the 2022-23 season: the 51st annual George London Foundation Competition for American and Canadian opera singers, one of the opera world's most prestigious competitions, and two recitals showcasing recent winners: rising stars mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis and baritone Benjamin Taylor, who both won their George London Awards in 2018.

After a season-long series of competitions at the district, regional, and national levels, a panel of expert judges named six singers as the winners of the 2022 Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition.

TexARTS, located in Lakeway, TX, will welcome video submissions for the upcoming production of The Full Monty. Local, nonunion performers who are 18 or older are encouraged to audition. TexARTS is committed to non-traditional casting and values diversity in all of its forms.

This virtual event will honor the 2022 Sherrill Milnes VOICE Awardee, mezzo Frederica von Stade, and celebrate the Savannah VOICE Festival’s 10-year anniversary.
