Gregg Ostrin's new play KILLING STRAWHEAD will have its New York debut reading at NOLA Studios' Studio One on Wednesday, July 30 at 4:00 PM.

Tonight at 11pm, 'musically thrilling' undie-rock, comedy-pop duo THE SKIVVIES returns to 54 Below, this time joined by guest stars including Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon), Margo Seibert, (Rocky), Eric Anderson (Soul Doctor), Amy Spanger (Rock of Ages), Christopher J. Hanke (How to Succeed), Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones), and Morgan James (Motown).

Talented rock tenor Rob Evan joins with Broadway regular Morgan James to perform a standout selection from the score for DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, the chart-topping gothic pop anthem 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart'.

This week's event featured performances from the casts of PIPPIN (Ciara Renee with Sam Lips, Nicolas Jelmoni and Charlotte O'Sullivan), CHICAGO (Bianca Marroquin, Amra-Faye Wright, Carol Woods, David Bushman and Nathan Madden), LES MISERABLES (Nikki M. James, Adam Monley and Betsy Morgan), and ATOMIC (David Abeles, Sara Gettelfinger, Jonathon Hammond, Randy Harrison, Jeremy Kushnier, James David Larson, and Grace Stockdale).

The York Theatre Company, and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the New York premiere of the new musical, Falling for Make Believe, written by Mark Saltzman with music arrangements by Keith Harrison. Directed by Kent Nicholson and with music direction by Ian Weinberger, the six-member cast features Jenny Ashman, Joe Iconis, Rebecca Ann Johnson, Ryan Reilly, Alan Schmuckler and Michael Winther. The single performance is set for TODAY, Thursday, July 10, 2014 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The reading is open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, blazes to life in a non-biographical story about friendship, family, revenge, change and hope. Inner city lives struggle for peace against the daily challenges they face in this entertaining and original musical. Through the poetry of one of the 20th century's most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today. The show opened just last week, June 19 at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at 47th Street), and BroadwayWorld was on the red carpet to capture all of the opening night fashions!
