THIS IS REAL - Nightmare Haunted House Creator Announces Immersive Horror Experience

Psycho Clan, the creative team behind the NYC Halloween institution, Nightmare Haunted House (in the lower east side for 13 years) in association with Studio 153 announces THIS IS REAL, a heart pounding horror experience by Nightmare Haunted House creator Timothy Haskell. This intimate and unnerving simulated abduction allows for only 8 people to participate at a time. Performances begin on September 8th, 2017 for an open-ended run and take place in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn (an area of NYC one would likely be taken to if they actually were abducted) at 153 Coffey Street, between Ferris and Conover Street.  Performances are Tuesdays-Sundays at various times, with tickets ranging from $95-$110.  Visit www.thisisreal.nyc for complete details. 

Lincoln Center Out of Doors' Celebrates Traditional Eastern European & Central Asian Folk

Lincoln Center Out of Doors, one of the country's longest-running free outdoor summer festivals, opens this year on July 26 and runs through August 13. The 47th edition of the popular festival will fill the Lincoln Center campus with a diverse range of music, dance, spoken word, and family events, featuring dozens of artists from across the city, country, and world-all completely free and open to the public.

The Glimmerglass Festival opened its new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! on Saturday, July 8, in Cooperstown, New York. According to B. A. Nilsson of Words and Music, 'It's a glorious, fully committed, high-kicking three hours of joy.' The production runs through August 22, 2017.

Acclaimed One Woman Show BETTE DAVIS AIN'T FOR SISSIES Opens at the Athenaum Theatre
