Go inside Come From Away: The Concert Steele Community Centre in Gander and September 19-21 at the Mary Brown's Centre in St. John's, which brought home the musical about the small Canadian town that temporarily doubled in population in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and tells the real-life stories of the people from there, and those who came from away. 

A dynamic group of performers from several ‘Come From Away’ companies around the world will assemble for this special presentation. The concerts will welcome home Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, Petrina Bromley (from the original Broadway cast) and Clint Butler and Kate Etienne (from the Toronto cast).

The National Tour of Come From Away has returned to the stage! The production returned at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN earlier this month.

Following a transfer to the Elgin Theatre that lasted most of 2019, COME FROM AWAY has returned to its original Toronto home, the Royal Alexandra Theatre, in full form. Under director Christopher Ashley, writers and composers' Irene Sankoff and David Hein story of what happened in the town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the days following 9/11 maintains all the charm that it held before moving.

The Canadian production of COME FROM AWAY, a "Best Musical" Award winner across North America, and now on stage at its new home, the Elgin Theatre, continues to play to sold out houses and thrill Toronto audiences, demanding yet another extension. Twelve more weeks of performances - 99,000 tickets, will be added from July 2 through September 29, 2019 at the Elgin Theatre, 189 Yonge Street.

For the Toronto company of Come From Away, their return to Newfoundland this week is a homecoming of sorts - bringing back to the island the musical that tells the stories of those who were stranded there, and the Canadians who took them in, following the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001. For the first time since the original TorontoBroadway company performed the musical in concert for the town of Gander - the musical has returned to 'the rock,' this time for a week of performances in St. John's, Newfoundland at the Holy Heart Theatre.

The CBC reports that tickets for the COME FROM AWAY concert performances sold out in record time, with both a wait to purchase online, as well as lines around the block at the Holy Heart Theatre in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The made-in-Canada phenomenon that is COME FROM AWAY is coming to St. John's. The show that has become the toast of Broadway and Toronto, will play eight benefit performances in a concert version at Holy Heart Theatre from January 23 to 27, 2019. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10 AM (NDT) exclusively through Holy Heart Theatre ticket channels.
