The audience for the Jan. 21 premiere of THE GREAT ONE looked decidedly different than most of the opening night spectators at the Short North Stage. About 40 percent of the viewers for the one-act musical, written by Scott Hunt and J.J. Tiemeyer, came to the downtown theater donning hockey sweaters and sweatshirts and even broke into a chant of 'Let's Go Jackets' before the beginning of the play.

Wagner College Theatre opens their 2014-15 Season with one of America's great musicals, Hello, Dolly! from October 1-12. Gefilte Fish Chronicles the Musical was invited to perform at the White House. The event was hosted by Presidential Senior Advisor, Valerie Jarrett and Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. In celebration of the eighth annual Jewish American Heritage Month, the White House will be hosting on Tuesday, May 21st, a staging of the critically acclaimed 'The Gefilte Fish Chronicles the Musical', directed by Emily Maltby, with orchestrator James Higgins.
