The magic returns! Hallmark Channel announces Season Two of its highly rated Original Primetime Series “Good Witch,”

Hallmark Channel is pleased to announce its newest Original Primetime Series, 'Good Witch,' starring Catherine Bell, James Denton and Bailee Madison, has received a second season renewal of 12 new episodes including a two-hour Fall 2015 premiere and 10 new hours to follow in early 2016.

Hallmark Channel's original primetime series, Good Witch, continues to soar on Saturday nights with the 3rd episode premiere garnering a 2.3 HH rating and 2.4 million total viewers

Following the successful kickoff of Hallmark Channel's newest original scripted series, Good Witch, the Saturday, March 7th second episode premiere spellbound viewers yet again, averaging 2.5 million total viewers and a 2.4 HH rating, according to Live+3 data.

Actor James Denton ('DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES') is in town to promote his new show 'GOOD WITCH' on the Hallmark Channel. Second Stage Theatre continues the 2014 Uptown Series with the New York premiere of MALA HIERBA, written by Tanya Saracho (HBO's 'Looking' and 'Girls') and directed by Jerry Ruiz. MALA HIERBA will feature ROBERTA COLINDREZ, SANDRA MARQUEZ, MARTA MILANS, and ANA NOGUEIRA. Previews begin tonight, July 14th and opening night is Thursday, July 24th.

WAKE, written by New York-based Carey Crim, will have its west coast premiere presented by LA's critically acclaimed SeaGlass Theatre company today, April 26 through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the beautiful Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena, CA, it was announced by Ovation nominated actor and SeaGlass Theatre Managing Director Paul Stroili, along with SeaGlass Artistic Director Kimberly Van Luin. WAKE'S five all-star member ensemble will feature Nancy Berggren, Alison Blanchard, Michael Connors, Allie Costa, and Lauren McCormack. Matt Kirkwood has been set to direct.

Pure Flix, the studio behind the smash movie GOD'S NOT DEAD, is currently in production on a new theatrical titled DANCER AND THE DAME. The film began shooting this week in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Strawdog Theatre Company and Interim Artistic Director Hank Boland and Crip Slam, part of Victory Gardens Access Project, announce a fully accessible performance of the world premiere of Philip Dawkins' Miss Marx: or The Involuntary Side Effect of Living directed by Megan Shuchman, Thursday, March 13 at 8 p.m. at Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, in the Prince Charitable Trust Rehearsal Room, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave. This performance will be fully wheelchair accessible. Audio description, open captioning and a touch tour of elements from the production will also be provided. Immediately following that night's performance there will be a post show talk back with the playwright and director. This performance is pay what you can at the door with reservations requested.
