Academy Award-winning Visual Effects artists Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr., co-founders of Studio ADI (Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc.) have launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring their science fiction/horror film celebrating animatronics and makeup FX, “Harbinger Down,” to the silver screen.

Bringing Russia's world renowned ballet company to U.S. movie theaters nationwide, Cameron Pace along with NCM Fathom Events and Omniverse Vision Ltd. present a stunning new re-interpretation of Tchaikovsky's famous masterpiece with "Swan Lake Mariinsky Live*" from the Mariinsky Theatre. Broadcast live in both 2-D and RealD 3-D from the historic Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia on Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. local time, this exclusive event will be led by multi-award winning Artistic Director Valery Gergiev. Mariinsky's principle ballerina and the latest brilliant star from the company, Ekaterina Kondaurova, will star in the main role as Odette. Texas A&M University's MSC OPAS has announced the events coming to the 2013-14 "Sparks Will Fly" season. The organization unveiled a roster of performances to be presented from September 2013 to April 2014 that includes eight events on the Ann Cobb Wiatt Main Stage series, five on the Intimate Gatherings series, two on the OPAS JR series and two on the new OPAS Family series.
Peter Kang Named Paramount EVP of Production

Garret Dillahunt, Jake Abel to Star In WWII Thriller GHOSTS OF THE PACIFIC

Garret Dillahunt ('Raising Hope'), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), and Jake Abel (The Host) are set to star in GHOSTS OF THE PACIFIC, the true story of three WWII Navy flyers cast adrift on the South Pacific in 1942. The feature will be produced by The American Film Company, which specializes in making movies based on true stories from America's past.

British actress Naomie Harris will wear this year's Red Carpet Green Dress to the Academy Awards. The initiative was founded by actress and environmentalist Suzy Amis Cameron (wife of James Cameron). This year's dress is designed by 20-year-old Ghana-born designer Michael Badger. “Michael's entry was entirely inspired by nature, which should inspire us all to care a little more than we do,” said Amis Cameron.

According to The NY Post, it may be a while until Leonardo DiCaprio fans will be seeing their idol up on the big screen. In a recent interview with the German newspaper 'Bild,' the actor revealed, 'I'm a little bit drained. I am now going to take a long long break.' he added, 'I'm just worn out.'
