Ordway Center for the Performing Arts today announced the cast for its holiday production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, opening December 7, 2010 and running through January 2, 2011.

Phantom of the Opera, a new musical by Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell plays through July 18 at The Players Theatre. The ambitious schedule features a theater season with six productions, the Target® World Music and Dance Series with seven productions, two community partnerships, and the annual Flint Hills International Children's Festival.

Now there are those that say this show is overdone and nothing really new or fresh can be done with it. I was one of those people. To them (and to myself) I say, "Then you haven't seen the production at the 5th Avenue yet."

Additional casting has been announced for 5th Avenue's production of JOSEPH and the AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Jennifer Paz (Les Misérables) will play the role of the Narrator and Dusty 45's Billy Joe Huels will join the cast as Pharaoh. James A. Rocco will return to 5th Avenue to direct. JOSEPH will open October 10th and run through November 1st.
